AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR VALUED
PATIENTS, FAMILIES & REFERRAL OFFICES

COVID - 19 Update

Governor Abbott removed the previous mask mandate with Executive Order GA-34, on March 2, 2021. We recognize that we are all ready to get to back to life before COVID.    In our office we have always had the health and welfare of our patients and staff at the center of our infection control policies.  We also follow the requirements and recommendations of the  Center for Disease Control, American Dental Association and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.  At this time, we will continue to ask our patients and family members to wear masks and practice appropriate social distancing while in our office.

Our office will continue to practice universal safe protocols.

Staying Home When Sick:

If you as a patient are not feeling well, showing any cold or flu-like symptoms, have been in contact with a person thought to be infected or shown to be infected with the virus we ask that you do not come to the office and that you reschedule your appointments.

Disinfecting:

We have always and continue to follow a strict cleaning procedure before and after each patient. Recently, we have intensified our daily cleaning of all surfaces.  We also employ an independent cleaning service to do deep cleaning at appropriate intervals.

Communication:

Our staff will continue to meet regularly and is in close contact with local and regional health officials regarding the latest guidelines. Any procedural adjustments will be made as indicated.

San Antonio Oral Surgery & Dental Implants has always followed stringent safety & health guidelines as established by OSHA, American Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association to ensure a safe environment for patients and employees.
