San Antonio Oral Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey S. Wert, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1983 and completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas in 1984. Dr. Wert went on to complete his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics in 1987.

He is a member of the San Antonio Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Wert has lectured extensively and taught on many topics in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in particular dental implants and grafting.

Dr. Wert’s practice is full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis in dental implants and bone grafting. He is especially interested in using today's emerging digital technology to enhance the planning and treatment of dental implants. He has been in private practice in San Antonio since 1987.

When not practicing oral surgery he enjoys family activities with his wife and three children, travel, golf, hiking and working on his ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Dr. Wert is active in his church where he enjoys teaching.
